Can I get credit after bankruptcy?
You'd be surprised how easy it is to get credit after bankruptcy. Our clients often receive credit card offers even during the bankruptcy, shortly thereafter also. A lot of times, the credit cards will have a lower limit than you might be used to, but every quarter or so they can be increased as you're using the cards. It's important to use your credit because you'll need, even if you don't want to use your credit cards again, you're going to want to have a good credit score when it comes time to buy another house or buy another vehicle.
It's easy to get credit. The creditors, they view you as being actually pretty credit worthy. Now you have no debt and you can't file bankruptcy another chapter seven for eight years. With no debt, you make a great client for them. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to rebuild your credit after filing a bankruptcy. A lot of our clients will get back to a range where they can do most everything after two years.
